Also, i managed to get on the server just once and now i cant get on, its saying that the login server is down so im kinda confused with what to do :s someone please help

You broke it ! :P

Likely related to problems with multiple login attempts.. it's a part of codebase that i don't plan on touching until i get a proper 2way position synchronization working.

Also, I've wrapped the server with a monitoring process, should restart automatically now :)

I see, so does this mean the server is down due to me logging in or because you have shut it down ? :p

It's up , and if it fails, it should get restarted automatically.

Ah i see but every time i try and log in its the same problem over and over :/ and by the way the link you sent me i already have that client downloaded :P thanks anyway i just cant wait to play my favourite game again ! :D

Likely a bug in the server, although the current state of the project is basically it. You login , create a hero, enter map, and 'slide' through the map in chosen direction :)

I really want to help with this project somehow. I see some progess has been made since I last logged in. logged into outbreak. Textures etc were fine I was able to move alittle at extreme speed. Man, I'd donate a kidney to be able to play CoX again :(

What problems still must be overcome to allow full movement, access to powers and npcs to attack in outbreak?

Next big hurdle is : server<->client physics sync ( position, timing, prediction )

Is it that you know how to do that but it requires an immense amount of time to do or is it something that you're still trying to figure out how to do? Some code or something I can look at? :)
