Binary release

Post by nemerle » Tue Jun 18, 2013 5:53 pm

Long time has passed since the last binary release, so here's the current one. compiled using MSVC 2010 express.

It's the current version, the same code-wise as the one currently running on test server,

Give it a whirl, report errors, have fun with it :)

Oh bother.. forgot one, did I ? :)
You can search for the missing dll on-line, but I'll re-upload the archive ( in an hour or so )

I've overwritten the previous archive with recompiled code, if anyone could try it out and see if anything is missing, I'd appreciate that :)

Just DL'd the updated archive and still getting the same msg!. More than likely, I'm guilty of severe cockpit trouble. I plopped the archive contents in the CoX directory and running the only executable in there "authserver.exe". Please set me on the right (correct) path! :D

Thanks for testing Styrj.

And nope, the problem is on my end, I've finally tracked it down though.. ACE.dll has been built in Debug mode

I've re-uploaded the archive again ( sorry for the inconvenience )

OK, I re-DL'd the archive and plopped the contents in my CoX folder. Ran my CoX shortcut (on my desktop), got into AP (there's still a bit of rubberbanding when you move your toon). Now, the chat window displays v0.3.0 Alpha. Is this correct or am I still in cockpit trouble land? :? BTW, thanks for all your hard work and effort!!

Well, you're connecting to the test server, no trouble there .

The archive that I've posted is for people who'd like to run their own servers, "just because" :)

Fair enough. At least no cockpit trouble on my end. However, much as I'd like to, running my own server is beyond what my few brain cells can conjure.

Well, I hope that one day we can have a zero-config server version.
Sorry for all the confusion.

On the bright side, You've helped me fix the problems with the binary release, thank You :)
